Child Empowerment International challenges the cycle of poverty in areas of civil unrest through empowering and educating marginalized children.
Beginning in Sri Lanka, CEI has been protecting childhood and empowering leaders since 1998. Today, it has resources in post-conflict countries like Sri Lanka, Uganda and Nepal.
Child Empowerment International provides healthcare and education to over 6,000 children through its 290 teachers and employees.
Needs & Provided Solution
Child Empowerment International approached eLab Communications when it opened a satellite location in Carmel, California. As a nonprofit organization, donations are a key component to the continuity of its healthcare and education programs. Child Empowerment International needed a restructured web presence to enhance its online donation experience. It also required a donor and child profile management solution to assist volunteers and staff manage donors and children profiles along instant access to reporting.
Through various planning, collaboration and execution phases, eLab Communications developed a cloud-based web application providing Child Empowerment International donors and volunteers a simple way to manage its online donations and children profiles.
We used high-quality photos from various programs to create a unique branded look and easy to follow navigation. Loading speed for global visitors using mobile and tablet devices was dramatically enhanced through our CDN connections, where mobile browsing became much faster and more secure.
