Needs & Provided Solution
As a global leader in on-demand interpretation, LanguageLine Solutions needed to modernize its mobile application interface to align with the latest iPhone models and user experience standards. The existing app required a more intuitive UI/UX that would simplify access to live interpreters while eliminating manual PIN and toll-free number entry.
eLab Communications collaborated with LanguageLine’s team to design and prototype a modern, flat-based user interface with clean iconography, simplified navigation, and full device compatibility. A promotional microsite was also created to serve as the app’s official landing page, offering direct download links, feature highlights, and a live web-based demo.
The redesigned app enables users to instantly connect with a live interpreter by selecting a language and tapping one button. It also includes a built-in phrase library covering 10 of the most common languages, supporting both speed and accessibility for global users.
